In May Copenhagen Capacity hosted the International Talent Conference, which aimed to address the need for international talent in Denmark. This time, the main theme was directed towards digital transformation and the future of work.

The International Talent Conference took place in the Royal Danish Opera House that was donated to Denmark by the A.P Møller and Chastine McKinney Møller Foundation in August 2000. Besides the astonishing architecture, the building is located just opposite of Amalienborg, the home of Danish Royal family. The Royal Opera house is built on an island, where it is surrounded by beautiful waters and quaint ships that are passing by. One of these ships was used to bring the young talents to the conference on the 4th of May. In total, there were 250 dedicated international people from 65 different countries that were about to meet the Danish Prince, the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science together with the most innovative Danish businesses like A.P.Møller-Mærsk, Accenture, COWI, KPMG, Microsoft, Netcompany, Nordea and Systematic. Also, the global millennials had the chance to discuss the new trends within the future of work and digital transformation.

Copenhagen Capacity, with a close cooperation with the Danish transport & logistics company A.P. Møller-Maersk, made an impressive event that united inspiring people, business and talent together. They had a chance to engage in different workshops, discussions, listen to inspiring stories, learn but also to enhance their future career in Denmark. The discussion was centered on digital transformation and the future of work, especially how the workplace is affected by advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, technology-driven agendas and so on. Discussions centered on Denmark as an attractive career destination and unique matchmaking with Danish innovative businesses. Here is YGA (Youth Goodwill Ambassador) Mirej's impressions of the event:

This year's International Talent Conference was held in a breathtaking atmosphere in the most beautiful modern opera house in the world! I had the great opportunity to meet the CHRO of A.P. Møller-Mærsk, Ulf Hahnemann, who shared with us different stories and ideas on how to be more visible on the job market. He found time to personally talk to each and every one of us, and I really admire this way of connecting and networking these international talent conferences offer.
